Just a quick post ;

Yesterday, we had additional maths.
and for some reason, my work wasn't complete,
I did a few,
but I didn't understand some, and I left it there, empty.

I know my teacher well,
she always checks our work after a long break,
she somehow knows some people will not finish their work,
true enough, some boys didn't complete their work,
and she was furious,
like, real mad,
and she started checking all our books,

I was so worried,
she is my favorite teacher, and she dotes on me as well,
and I know it'll be awkward if she ever sees me not finishing my work.
BUT I HAD NO CHOICE,
addmaths is hard,
I missed a few classes, and boom, I'm having a hard time coping with it now,

So yeah, I prayed.
and guess who answered my prayer? (;
When it was my turn, she didn't even flip through the pages,
she saw my work was complete on the first and second page,
and she gave me back my book.

Oh my, you don't know how relieved I felt.

I'm not trying to tell you, don't finish up your work and expect God to do a miracle,
I'm just saying, when you do your part, God will do His part.

I've been dreaming way too much, can we turn this to reality

I haven't been updating.
I have no time, oh my gosh.

Yeah, the reason why I can update now,

is because I skipped school, for some reason.

I miss the lovelies so much,
no doubt, last weekend was so awesome,
but I miss seeing them every day.
I miss bickering with Jeva,
I miss talking to Puteri,
I miss teasing Yaseen,
I miss arguing with Zali.

Anyway, life goes on.
I'll be seeing them at Aungerah Cemerlang though,
so you know, I'm kindda excited

and I cannot wait for it.

my heart literary sank when I found out Puteri and Jeva were leaving one day after they told me they got into SSI.
It was way too soon, I didn't expect them to leave this early, or before Zali leaves.
I didn't have time to prepare myself.
And I've cried for weeks because I couldn't imagine going to school without em'.
And here am I, today, 2 days since they left,
And I'm barely surviving school.
Today was the last day for Zali.

I cried briefly in the morning, and prayed,
hoping today would be a better day.
And yes it was way better.

Puteri Syahirah Balqis,
Puteri, thanks for being there always,
you don't know how grateful am I to you.
the times we went crazy over Vanessa Hudgens,
to discussing how awesome Glee's songs were.
From Facebook crazies, to Twitter obsessed.

if you were given a choice to pick one between your passion and your love,
what would be your answer?
which one would you choose?

Being 16 isn't easy.
You are suppose to make choices, and to bear the consequences yourself.
No one is there to teach you, not even your own seniors.
I don't have an elder sibling to guide me,
I'm not as lucky as the others.

How I wish I had an elder sister or brother.

This week was good.
I managed to spend some quality time with the lovelies.
Staying back for our co-curriculum activities on Thursday afternoon,

and everyone from 3B1 came and played before our CCA started,
everyone was hitting the balls with the raquets,
Puteri and I were just being on-lookers,
their cheerleaders,
and having a great time talking to each other.

I thought it would be tough since I got into volleyball.
I didn't have a choice, badminton club was full.
and everyone I knew was in badminton club.

So yeah.
But oh gosh,
I had so much fun!
With the lovely Syuhada and Izzaty,
awesome Divina and crazy Jeva,
and I met new girl named Aiza.

Of course I wished I was with Puteri, Zali, Adib, Juls, and all.
BUT THIS WAS SO MUCH FUN.
Actually, I did pray before I went to Puan Suhaila.
I told God, 'Please give me something I'll love, something I'll be capable of, even if I'm not good in it, I'll still learn, because it's Your will.'

And I got volleyball.
at first,
I was stunned.
I DIDN'T HAVE A SINGLE CLUE ABOUT VOLLEYBALL.
Let alone playing it in front of my juniors and seniors.
It'll be darn embarrassing.

BUT GOSH,
God is good, all the time.
I HAD SO MUCH FUN!
I just can't put it in words.
Trust me,
I laughed so hard with Izzaty and Syuhada.
Divina and Jeva were complaining non-stop to Zaty about Yaseen.
HAHAHA.
Goodness me :')

I've been telling myself I have to update, in fact, I really wanted to update.
So many things to tell; so many thoughts to share so many feelings to pour out;

But when I decided to pen it all down, somehow words just couldn't come out.
I guess it's God's will, because after when I thought about it again, yes, God showed me His real purpose of those incidents happening and they proved that He was and still is in control.
Thank God for simple and answered prayers ♥

Now where do I start?

Firstly, my world kindda crashed when I found out Zali wanted himself out of our class.
He opted for Technique Science, which was plainly ridiculous to me at first, because I thought I could finally spend the rest of my school life with my best friend. Puteri and Jeva were going to leave and it just didn't make sense that he also wanted to leave me alone in that class.

Then I realized, what Puteri said was right. It was our future, we have to choice for ourselves, not our others, not even best friends. And I know he wouldn't be happy staying back, learning Biology only to torture himself.

and yesterday in BM class, Puteri and I were sitting together and we started gossiping.

Oh good ol' times, how I've missed them :')
It's been days since we've both had a proper conversation thanks to our busy schedules.
but I'm grateful for her, I think I wouldn't survive all these without her,
it's weird because whenever I see her, it's like she's the sunshine among us or whuuut, she just gives me hope that today will be a better day and we can just smile it off if things don't turn out to be the way they were suppose to be.

Oh, and guess what? During our first Sivik class, we accidently brought our grammar books and thought it was our Sivik book.

'Great minds think alike,' says Puteri Syahirah, and by that, she was referring to herself and I ♥

This morning in school, as we've just finished performing our prefects' duties, we were going back to class lah. And then there was this bunch of Malay boys beside the stairs, and Jeva said,'EH, I heard they said babi otak!'

WE LAUGHED OUR ASSES OFF. That was darn hilarious.

I've learned a new term today : Babi otak.

and yesterday, Rupini was just, copying some stuff Puan Rabiah told her to on the whiteboard.

and then the board was so cram, she mistakenly wrote Asses for Assessments.
And I just couldn't stop laughing.

Epicly failed lah you Rupini.

Oh by the way, we did Aerobics today at the field.

and it was so fun but embarrassing.
Imagine your class' boys are just opposite playing futsal,
and you're dancing, and making a fool out of yourself,
but it was fun, just so fun.
Shaking those bodies, woot woot, you can't help but feeling you're in So You Think You Can Dance.

First day in school as a 16 year-old immature senior

Enjoying each and every minute with my friends who are going to Convent in just a few weeks' time;
Jumping up and down when I see juniors, especially Adib, Juls, Shaleni and many more;
Got to pick my seat with one of my favorite person, Zali;

Seeing those lovelies and le teachers after a looooooooooong holiday;
Called out for the pelajar cemerlang photoshoot, even though I'm not one of them;
Camwhoring in the class with the lovelies like no one else's business.

Oh my,
I've failed to update my blog on time.
I was going to summarize everything on 31st.
But, as you could see, I didn't, mainly because I was busy.

So here it is.

2011 was good.

never-ending jokes with the Sasau(s) ;
Jeva slapping my face and I'll tell her off and pretend to be angry;
hopping around in the class like no one else's business ;
bumping into some of the people I thought I wouldn't see them again in the most random place ever ;

seeing the 3B1's lovelies working hard for PMR, their selflessness will always remind me that classmates can be your true friends and they care for you and it's not all about the placing in class or whatever, it's about true friendships and helping each other out ;
crying on the day I had geography test and the whole school came to know about it ;

Puan Rabiah kissing me on the cheek all the time ;

festive seasons with the people I love [ you know who you are ] ;
caroling in malls and performing solos, goodness, it was nerve-wrecking ;

attempt to grow taller and skinnier [ but I failed ] ;
Jamuan with some of the awesomest prefects of all time ;
Birthday celebration, thanks to you guys, it was, so far, the best birthday celebration, ever ;

Webcam-sessions and HUGE with the amazing girl, Anna. I know the handphone incident was plain stupid, I'm sorry, but there were some stuff I wasn't ready to let go and let everyone know, so it was painful, but I really appreciate you and your friendship, really ;
Ending the year with the church peeps whom I heart so so much, and we saw some really beautiful fireworks on the way back home.

2011 couldn't get any better.

broken friendships, broken trusts, late-night tears and cries, all these shall, too pass, and I'll move on.

FINALLY.

Blogger was being a b*tch for the past few days.

Anyway,
I'm done worrying for my results.
I'll tell you what.
I'll tell you, I did NOT get straight A's, but I'm grateful.

I was and still am disappointed at myself.
For not scoring full A's.
Man, you don't know how terrible I felt when my principle called out my name, I was in the Near Miss category.

I feel bad.
I feel like I've disappointed everyone.
From my parents, my mom particularly, my teachers, my principle, my friends and my juniors.
I've failed terribly.
and I'm sorry, I really am.
Trust me, if I had the choice, I would have worked harder for that particular subject.
I wasn't and still is not good in that subject.
mainly because I didn't understand what the teacher was saying way back when I was in Form 1.
Furthermore, I was from a Chinese school. So it was tough.
It really was.

It's been a tough year, no, really, I mean it.

and I was hoping to get an "All the best." text from you.
You didn't.
I get it.
You want me out from your life.

I realized I've not been updating, in particular, about my birthday.

Well, here it is.
I had the best birthday ever.
and I'm not even joking.
It might sound cliche and all. but yeah, birthdays with family and close friends are nothing but awesome.
and those people who said that? They were absolutely right.

I thank God for these people in my life, and for the little blessings He had showered upon me, and till now, he's still blessing me non-stop, and I can't thank Him enough.

Got my red sneakers, I'm ready to go.
(pffft, it doesn't even rhyme.)
But honestly, I WAS LOOKING FOR RED SNEAKERS EVERYWHERE.
And they were either too expensive, or unavailable.
and I said a simple prayer one day before my birthday,
To get the top-up card, to get my red sneakers, and make this the best birthday, ever.
and guess what?
God answered it.
Truthfully, I almost cried,
I was and still am so so grateful, I cannot express my gratitude in words, till now.

What I'm trying to say here is,
Letters to God will never be unread and cries to God will never go unheard.
It's just that God hasn't reply, He's still thinking on how to reply you, at the right time.

Many times, we get so impatient and later, we'll be upset at God and everything.
and we'll blame God, not realizing He's trying his best to make you happy.

If what you're requesting is not good, or doesn't benefit you, He will never, ever give it to you, no matter how many times you request for it.

God answers prayers.

We were so bored and my dad decided to bring us all to Singapore to see the Christmas decorations at Orchard Road.
It's been years since I went there just to see the decos,
and it never fails to amuse me.

Goodness, it's so beautiful and nice lah.

And we had Subway because Johor Bahru hasn't got one here,

the first one is coming soon, this month at Sutera Mall.
God, it was so tasty, maybe because I was so darn hungry.
and lastly, we took an MRT,
my brother was so jakun, he even said 'bye' when the door closed.
For a minute, I was so ashamed.
Because he's darn young, and he has absolutely forgotten he had been on one many years ago. [ I'm positive he's forgotten, for freaking goodness' sake, HE HAD TO DO THAT AT SINGAPORE? ]

It's gonna be Christmas and I'm so excited.
and by the way,
I'm still 14 year-old and 364 days. It feels so good to be 14, not 15 yet.

I've been loosing my voice every Friday for caroling practices and piano lessons for the lovely JingYi, it's good though, she's learning pretty fast and I really, really like talking to this pretty new friend of mine.

hangouts with Mel almost every week at my place, I'm happy it's still like this (:
webcam with the awesome Anna whom I haven't seen for ages.
talking on the phone with the bestie seems to get my mind of things for awhile.
shopping with Marie just to get the perfect nail polish.

eating and just eating like I know I'm gonna gain 5 kg every minute but I still don't give a damn.
watching movies online, the best thing ever.
listening to that one particular song which describes your current feeling is the best thing ever, I've hit the replay button too many times for the record.

late night talks with mom and dad.
knowing Mandy and Erica's UPSR results was the best thing that has ever happened this week.

I'm proud of them! * hugs*

I was texting and I told a good friend of mine, ' Sorry, I was busy and you're not disturbing me lah. You'll never bother me. You won't.'
It was so familiar, that line, I found it vaguely familiar,
and then I realized, you told me the exact same line.

How touched I was,
how painful I am now.

Grateful for friends,
who've been there for me whenever I was in trouble.

Grateful for Marie,
Sometimes, a lil' lala moment can help forget those painful memories,
and I totally appreciate every "gedik and sampat" moments we have.
It's not easy, to have a same-age cousin, so smart, and yet, so humble to even hang around and stick with me all the time.
It's not easy for her.
and I totally love her for that.

Grateful for my siblings,
they've been supportive throughout my entire life.
We fight, OF COURSE WE DO.
But, if anyone touches them, you're dead.

Grateful for my parents,
I might be rude at times,
but seriously, at night,
i'll be thinking and crying,
blaming myself for being such an ungrateful child.
I thank them for everything.

Grateful for Mel and Jerry,
they've been the best listeners of all time,
I know it's frigging annoying to hear me blabber all those nonsense,
but they've NEVER ever complained.
Instead, they offered help and advice,
What a great couple.

But mostly,
I thank God.
For bringing these people into my life,
for helping me, literary, when I needed help desperately.
He's so evidently here, existing,
and that's why I take Him for granted, at times,
and I'm truly sorry dear Lord.
But I thank You for everything.

Crazy day I would say?
The best CF so far.
I'm glad I had fun.

Went to school today after skipping school yesterday.
It was boring.
No, I was busy,
busy helping Puan Jeanette with her work.
And her demands were really....

Managed to chill and lepak with Zali and Hasif.
We were all talking about guitars, movies, and mostly,
Crap.

I told them to guess why my maid was leaving for Indonesia for a month.
They couldn't come up with an answer.
So I said,'Something to do with her boy, her boy is 10 years old by the way.'
Hasif screamed,'SUNAT! Anak dia nak sunat!'
Zali and I burst out laughing so hard.
And I was like,'Wey, do you have to scream?'
Zali proceeded to the next question;
'Ask Elvis to sunat lah, good for health you know.'
Goodness me, Ghazali Hamzah, do you think I am that dumb?

Later, Xin Xian came shortly after I came joining them again.
Xin Xian, 'Eh, Puan Ra'abiah nak jumpa korang.'
Hasif, 'JOM!'
Xin Xian, 'Huh? Puan Ra'abiah nak jumpa pelajar muslim sahaje lah.'
Hasif, 'Aku tak cakap ngan awak, I cakap ngan Elaine'
I was like, the heck?
Zali,'Eh bukan lah, Elaine Indian.'
Hasif, 'Tak, dia tu 1Malaysia, Indian, Chinese, then ta-da! Melayu pun ade.'
Then they started asking me what Malay names I want.
Traditional or modern.
Seriously, they're sick.

Sometimes, I just don't understand why I love these people ♥

At times, when I think about how school's gonna end in a week's time,
I hate it.
There are lots of people leaving next year,
people whom I've grown to love,
Most of them are from my class,
How painful, how fast.
Those beautiful memories;
I don't even know whether they'll remember these few years later when we meet again.
But what I do know is,
No one,
NO ONE will ever replace them in my heart, and never will I forget about them nor those memories.

This year, had been a challenging yet a fruitful one,
I saw how selfless everyone was (and still is).
How willing they were to help their own classmates to score for PMR.

How do you feel?

A junior of mine has been ignored and judged by others,
and yes, sometimes, I do not approve nor like her immature actions,
But I think we should give people chances.

Second chances;
how wonderful it'll be if everyone whom we have hurt, hated, gave us a second chance,
to prove that we didn't hurt them on purpose.
Second chances are meant to be cherished, not to be crushed and trampled on the floor.

Trust;
a fragile feeling, emotion that is overly misused by us human beings.
Trusting the wrong people is always a lesson we fail to learn,
I don't know why, maybe it's just one of our human natures that we trust people easily.

I was thinking about the last time we talked, which was 2 months back.
To think that you'll ignore me because of a stupid reason which I'm lazy to explain to you right now is ridiculous.

So I went to the bazaar,

It's more like, I'm busier these days with all those activities going on in school.

Life after PMR is, boring and just plain boring.
It seems like, being this free, makes me drag and procrastinate even more.

First was Jamuan.
Jamuan was awesome, so far the best(:
The fun, the laughter, the smiles, the tears,
All will be remembered.

We had the best Head Prefect [said by Pn. Lee]
He had the best team,
and together,
it was all perfect.
I'll not deny that there were times when we felt like punching him in his face,
disobeying his orders,
but we knew he meant well.
The effort he put in,
even though this was an important year for him, O' Levels wey.
BUT HE PERFORM HIS DUTY TOO.

Day 7 : Four books.

I'm a bookworm. I'm NOT nerdy, I'm so NOT. But I love reading novels, literary. If we had to study all these novels for the subject Literature in school? I'll definitely get an A+ for it (lol, I'm self-praising, again.)

Anyways, these are the books I've read recently, and no, I don't only favorite 4 books, I LOVE NOVELS. If I finished a book, it means it was an interesting one and it definitely caught my attention till I managed to finish it. If that particular book was boring, I would've dumped it somewhere without even finishing it.

-> My Sister's Keeper by Jodi Picoult. It was seriously heart-breaking to know that Anna died at the end of the book, but hey, life's not always perfect.

-> The Tenth Circle, also by Jodi Picoult. Seriously, that book was amazing.

Lol, seriously, I'm not even joking. Westerners come all the way here JUST to try our food. Pretty awesome right? We have lotsa variety if you're talking about food.

-We're so united, in a way

Whenever we think or mention about Africa-Africans,
the first thing that comes into our mind: Famine, Hunger.

Firstly, this post is dedicated to the ones in Africa,
I love you all and this IS not a post about how terrible your country is.

See the kid up there?
He saw water and there was a smile on his face.
We hardly see African kids smile, no offence,
but just listen to my explanation.
These kids,
they don't get enough food to eat,
they don't have water to drink,
they don't have a house to run to whenever it rains,
and what's the result of not having a proper shelter?
They get all kinds of sicknesses.
And you wanna know the worst thing?
Just because their government is poor and corrupted,
that's why MOST Africans go hungry EVERYDAY.
Malnutrition is the right word to describe them.

think about it.
think about the the adults, the mommies, the kids, the babies .

they go hungry almost everyday.
and we?
We complain about how the food isn't salty enough,
the orange juice the maid prepared wasn't sweet enough.
Wow,
we throw our food away just because we're too full,
and the people in Africa goes hungry almost EVERYDAY.
Wow, what a contrast.
Just, plain wow.

This post is to remind each and everyone who's reading this post,
you're lucky.
you're lucky, because you have internet access.
you're lucky, because it means food awaits you on the dining table everyday without failing.
you're lucky, because we get to play with water-balloons and waste gallons of water.
you're lucky, because you're healthy and chubby, and Aids-free.

As we all know,
Somalia is experiencing the worst famine ever since a few decades ago,
and what are we doing here?
"OHHHHH, blah blah blah is in town! I need to get the tickets to his/her concert! "
"I NEED TO GO SHOPPING. Look at what she's wearing, BRANDED, I need that! "
Well, since you have the money to spend on the things you want to do,
it's a pleasure right, not a need.
Well, then i guess you're able to just help the people there.
Financially, donate AS MUCH AS YOU CAN.

I'm trying to be more optimistic.

I know I've been such a pessimist for the past few weeks.
I'm sorry, to you, if I've made you worried,
or unhappy cuz I couldn't rejoice with you when you shared some good news.
I'm really sorry, if I've offended anyone of you who's reading this post right now.
I'm sorry.

SO,
I'm back to my old self, again.
hehehe, trust me, I'm really happy now.

Mel gave birth on the 13th June.
Maegan Tan Yan Zhen is the pretty lil' doll's name (:
I'm so gonna doll her up like my own lil' sister, ♥

But Mel is in a critical condition now.
Not to say really serious,
But its a very weird thing.
And if the fluids doesn't disappear in her kidneys,
She need to poke it to drain it all out.

Honestly,
I'm sad.
I was and still is happy for the fact that Maegan is born after nine months of waiting,
Trust me,
Her arrival was awaited by thousands of ppl.
Just look at the friends on FB that's wishing Mel,
praying for her, encouraging her dearest mummy.
But, now that she's out,
Mel is unable to hold her, to see her,
as she's hospitalised to get treatment, while the lil Maegan is still in the confinement centre.

And I know how sad is Mel.
When she cried,
God, all of us felt like crying with her too.
Seeing her in the hospital, and separated from her daughter for a few days,
and seeing her so sad, it made us so sad too.
Now that she's in the confinement centre for a few days,
I'm really happy for her. (:

School.
I was pissed off at a teacher one week ago.
But now,
I'm so happy that I have great teachers.
Especially Pn. Lee.
She's an awesome woman,
Same goes to Pn Rabiah, Pn Tey, Cik Teng and so on.
I love them so much.

Ever since Katy Perry's Last Friday Night hit the radio station,
my theme song every Friday would be Friday by Rebecca Black,
and on satudays, it'll be Last Friday NIGHT, TGIF. :D
I mean, you gotta admit Rebecca's song is pretty catchy,

mothers' day drama

Mothers' Dae Today.

Gosh, it was suppose to be an awesome mothers' dae. EVERYTHING WAS OKAY.

I went for breakfast with mom and siblings, went to church, went shopping with Mel for mommy's pretzie. EVERYTHING WAS PERFECT .

And then out of the sudden, my parents argued. ON THIS FREAKING DAY. DAMMIT.

I tried to stop, make them chill, then later, they continued, I exploded. I SAID, 'YOU KNOW WAD, GET OUT AND ARGUE. DONT GET US INVOLVE IN ALL THIS STUPID STUFFS.'

and they went silent. No one said a thing, no one did anything. My siblings ran up to escape all the unnecessary dramas. I was there, being rude, but i din care, cuz finally, it made them come back to their freaking sense.

I was planning to give my gifts, to be nice today, to make my mom happie, TO MAKE EVERYONE HAPPIE. and this stupid dramas happened.

My week was kindda awesome. You know ryte, we had Labours' Day Holidays on Monday, so church organized a trip to Malacca. It was kindda frustrating when the drivers couldn't stick to the instruction given, but overall it was good (: I bought similar earrings with Jessica and had fun with Mel, ahh, those darlings of mine

School:

TENSION TENSION TENSION. sighs, i dont know lar. I used to be the joyful one, the one jumping up and down and around the classroom. But two weeks ago, i was moody, i was less active, i was just.mean. BUT, it doesnt mean that im still not me, it doesnt mean im sombong, it doesnt mean i din wanna talk to you, why, WHY did you ever misunderstood me? friends, are the ones you can count on when the whole world falls apart. BUT WHY, why did you misunderstand me. just why?

I went to UTM, so damn fun, i bought my freaking flip-flops and baju kurung, yeshh, i know you're jealous (;

BUT NOW, i feel like im in hell -.-
Geography and History folio did that to me.
They're currently torturing me by not letting me sleep by completing it -.-

BUT KLAS TAMBAHAN TODAE WAS SOOOOO.... BORRRINNNGGG -.-
unlike yesterday, I have to admit: Pn Lee is a better klas tambahan teacher, compared to Pn. Ho. We laughed like maniacs during Pn. Lee's lesson, best part: It didnt feel like we're having remedial class, it felt like normal school lesson.
FYI, normal school lessons = pure HAPPINESS :D

but Pn. Ho was soo....serious. She makes me scared :/

Hehehe, LOL, imma finish up my freaking geography before Pn. Noraini kills me with parang tmr, its not something i'll look forward to [ if that even happens =.= ]

To adib: 2 years in the afternoon session is not that bad (:
